Somehow, this photograph, however simple, seems to fit nicely with the other domestic snapshots in this collection. As photography became an increasingly accessible and affordable pasttime, amateur practioners began snapping more shots around their homes. Pets and farm animals became increasingly common subjects, which is probably why this very photograph exists.
