Little Boy Blur

Fred Bodin

$24.99

Something about the slight blur of this little boy's face makes me wonder if he simply stumbled across the photographer's path. Perhaps it was too much to imagine that a tot so young could stay still for the camera. Instead, we have the suggestion of motion, a mark of imperfection that only adds to this snapshot's charm. Also, it it possible to go through life not loving those shiny shoes and that adorable collar, which is a hallmark of Edwardian juvenile style? I for one certainly don't think so.This image comes to us from the Fred Bodin collection. Fred was an avid collector and a professional photographer himself. He worked for "Yankee Magazine," a prominent New England publication. Over the course of his life, Fred collected photographic prints and negatives from various photographers around New England, and after his death in 2016, HIP purchased the bulk of Mr. Bodin's collection. We're excited to share the best of it with you.
