As usual, there seems to be a lot going on in this group portrait by Clarence Trefry: a multiplicity of faces, interactions, relationships, and attire. Each social cluster seems to be an insular world of its own. My favorite figure is the woman with a white bow around her neck who stands near the back. She isn't interacting with anyone nor does she seem especially connected to the photographer. Perhaps she is the outlier in this social circle or perhaps she simply feels unsure of how to carry herself when in front of the camera (I can relate).
