Railroad lovers, unite! A shot of a train, from another train. We think this shot was taken around Mauch Chunk, Pennsylvania, and that the body of water in the midground is the Lehigh River. This particular negative was found in the collection of Mr. Fred Bodin, a prolific photographer and collector who was active in the New England area. After Mr. Bodin's death, HIP was fortunate enough to purchase his archives, which include thousands of images, many of which were taken by his grandmother, Alice Curtis. We're not exactly sure who took this particular shot, but it may have been taken by Ms. Curtis.
