Tired of hearing me gush over how beautiful these exposures are? If so, the fault's on you, buddy, for looking at such perfectly exposed photographs. Seriously, though, I love this one, especially how the light hits on the rock on the left third of the frame. I'm not sure where this road is going, but it reminds me of a drive I once took through Southern California. I pulled over to snap a photograph of a space that was quite similar to this one, and my car tires sunk into the soft, sandy shoulder of the dirt road. It was mildly terrifying to be stuck on a remote desert road, though eventually I managed to get free. But, alas, my photograph wasn't nearly as pretty as this one. We aren't exactly sure where or when this photograph was taken, but it comes to us from the sprawling collection of Fred Bodin, a photographer and collector who was active in New England until his death in 2016. Thanks for the memories, Fred!
